Branch Manager

Tell us about your current role at Plumbing World – what is it that you do and what does your typical day look like? I am currently the Branch Manager which involves daily task as, Leading my team, servicing customers, data entry etc. This also involves future planning like store layout and set-up, meeting with customers to draw in more business etc. What is your favourite part of your role? My favourite part of my role is flexibility. As part of a small team we are all involved with doing different things in and around the branch. I also like the fact that the branch is only 4.2km from home which in Auckland is great. What advice do you have for someone who wants to do a similar role to you? It takes a lot of hard work and support from a great team and leaders to get to where you want to be. At Plumbing World I have plenty of support. Tell us about your career in Plumbing World. I started with PWL in 2010 at CDF doing ‘tables’ then moved to Trade sales at Manukau for 18 months, then to Takanini as BIC for 18 months, Lunn Ave for 9 months and back to Takanini where I am now the Branch Manager. Why do you love working at Plumbing World? I love working at PWL because I work with and for a very supportive team, there is always so many different things to do and with nearly 50 branches there is always one close to me.
