Sales, Commercial & Marketing
Representing Plumbing World to the country, products, Brands, and merchandising… what is not to love about that? Our sales teams put our marketing plans into practice. They build relationships, gather valuable knowledge about the regions in which we work and make sure we deliver products our customers want.
Our Marketing team sees our products through ‘the eyes of the plumber and consumer’, they are the experts on trends, products, advertising campaigns and how these influence our markets.
The people in our Sales and Commercial teams build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers. They are out on the road throughout the country, on construction and residential sites meeting with our customers, both large and small, demonstrating products and providing solutions that will support their needs.
Each of these teams works with key people and groups across the company, combining their local knowledge with wider business intelligence. So what does a great Sales or Market person at Plumbing World look like?

IT and Business Improvement
Plumbing Worlds success relies on a strong technological infrastructure and the continued update and improvement of our IT systems. That is why we look for the brightest, most innovative minds for our Information Technology and Business Improvement teams.
These two teams of clever cookies work closely together, one dedicated to researching, trialling and reengineering systems to enable the routine delivery of exceptional business performance, the other maintaining those business systems, identifying problems and providing effective and timely solutions.
Clearly technical skills and experience are important. You should be able to solve problems under pressure and support other team members when issues arise. Exactly what skills and experience you need will depend on the role you are interested in. On top of this, we look for individuals who can drive business change and work with people across different locations and functions. Your skills will need to include:
- Customer service skills that includes patience and attentiveness
- Clear communication skills with the ability to describe technical process in a simple way
- Time management and prioritising skills.
