Sarah

Branch Sales Co-ordinator

Tell us about your current role at Plumbing World – what is it that you do and what does your typical day look like? I look after the group home builders, and with speed Queenstown is growing, it keeps me very busy! I organise all the orders for all the group homes, as well as all front of wall orders for our customers. Also the showroom, and any walk in customers. When it gets busy in the mornings, I will pop out and help out on the Trade Counter when necessary too. Sometimes you will find me helping out the Inwards Good’s guys! Every now and again, you’ll even find me in the delivery truck dropping some fittings off to the plumbers! What is your favourite part of your role? I love the variety a day can bring.  One day I will be serving customers in the showroom and preparing quotes for them, and the next I can be helping out on the trade counter all day! What advice do you have for someone who wants to do a similar role to you? Be organised! Make sure you make notes for each job, or you will never remember the quirks each job comes with! Tell us about your career in Plumbing World: I started working for Plumbing World in September 2016. I had just had a year’s maternity leave, and moved south from Auckland. I had been working for a plumber in Auckland, and we bought all of our fittings from Plumbing World, Lunn Ave, so I already knew the excellent reputation of the business. Why do you love working at Plumbing World? I work with a great group of guys in Queenstown and the atmosphere is always fun! I have a young daughter, so the team have to be understanding that I need to be flexible, and I have been very lucky to have a great support.
